How do you perfect scroll an item?
Hello guys, I saw a recent post going around that said how to do this, but I lost track of it.
How do I know is Elemental Staffs (5 specifically) are 1h or 2h weapons?
1. What kind of hammers do you use (the 50% untradeable ones okay?) and what happens if these fail?
2. What scrolls to use, PRIOR, to using the scrolls (I plan on using the 50% att)
3. Can I use clean slates 10% (I have a bit) and it doesn;t say anything about boom? Should I expect it to boom?

you can only have 3 clean slates per character so make sure you can get your red coins on multiple characters. it took me 15 10% clean slates to open the last 3 slots of my weapon. definitely consider the shield scrolls (blue) in the cs that act like white scrolls. clean slating is just a pain

When Advanced Potential Scrolls were first being sold from Evolving World, they did not state that they would explode the item if failed.

Usually if it explodes upon failure, it will state so, but be a little cautious.
If you fail a 50% hammer, you get the extra slot, its just "used" so you'll have to use a clean slate to open it.
The 10% clean slates are 100% O.K.
Staffs and Wands are 1h weapons.
You don't HAVE to use any scrolls before using the 50% ones, you have clean slates, but you can use a lucky day scroll to increase it to 60% pass.
If you plan on using Equip Enhancement scrolls, for the love of god, PLEASE use protection scrolls. You do NOT want your hard earned weapon to go poof. I'd recommend using them [b]after[/b] your weapon (ele staff) is +9.
1) any kind of hammer is good, as long as you can slate scroll the slots that were added when the hammer failed.
2) Protection - if you're going to use any scroll that can boom your equip. Shielding and lucky day are preffered - if you have those. You can do fine without, still.
3) If it doesnt say it will boom - trust me, IT WILL NOT.
The 50% tradable hammers are okay, but if they fail, you'll need to use Clean Slate scrolls to regain those lost slots. If the slate description does not mention anything about destroying an item, it's safe to assume that the item will not be destroyed upon failure. Also, using Lucky Day Scrolls, and Shield Scrolls will increase your chances to pass the 50% scroll, and protect the slot if said scroll fails, respectively.
