Confused About Dark Shock
In the new dark shock, there are darkness emblems when you tele past something. I'm assuming these are the purple balls. I'm confused about the skill description though.
"When attacking enemies with the Darkness Emblem, consumes emblems to deal 350% damage and 4 number of times. Emblem-consuming attacks have 20% bonus damage when attacking a boss."
I have never seen an emblem be "consumed" and deal damage 4 times. I also have no idea wtf an emblem-consuming attack is, and there is no mention of it on any other skills. What is this talking about..?

@pikalachu: ohh I was testing on mobs, and the FB was killing them before the emblems could proc. Sorry about that, but thanks!
@shadowind7: the lines are there and you can easily see it.
if you want to test it, just go to a boss and use teleport once then use finishing blow.
you will see your 6 lines of FB, but at the same time you see 4 lines with dmg stronger then your fb BEHIND your fb lines.
So there is only 1 emblem, and FB, DG, or SS sets off 4 attacks? I'm not seeing the extra lines or "harder" lines... But as you said the damage is probably there. Thanks for the help guys
its hard to tell when u consume the mark but the damage is there, lets say u blow up the mark with FB then itll look like FB is 10 lines instead of 6, u can tell which lines are from which skill because a blown mark's lines hit harder than FB's
feel like its some kind of mechanism to prevent abuse, dark shock deals more damage than FB, but theres that condition u have to meet to trigger the strongest lines
the skill is pretty much self explanatory if you ask me.
you attack a mob / boss with dark shock battle spurt or dark chain to leave a "mark" on things you hit.
the mark is that purple ball you said you saw.
this said mark will deal 4 lines of 350% damage when you attack using sweeping staff dark genesis or finishing blow.
thats pretty much it really. which is why using FB plus teleport is our best way to deal DPS
emblem-consuming attack refers to any attack that isn't dark shock, dark chain, or battle burst (cooldown-ed dark genesis' final attack procs the emblem as well)
Sorry for the necro, but I was actually curious about this after finally taking a look skill description. It seems like a big piece of our potential damage.
Spam Final Blow and Tele; i.e. Up Tele + Final blow to take out Final Blows delay ( Just as I see for myself)
