If Blizzard took over this game and made it P2P, the MapleStory community would most certainly die as people would rather spend their money playing more intricate games, since most games that are P2P are far better in a sense. The only reason Blizzard would want to take over MapleStory is to absolve it.
Actually, Maplestory WILL be better with blizzard running it, but im also disagreeing:
Yes: Blizzard is more wary of glitches/hacks than nexon, as well as taking action much faster. And the thing I LOVE about blizzard is that they focus on new content, instead of dumping a bunch of classes like Nexon.
No: Blizzard WILL make the game p2p, and most likely p2w. Nexon also makes the game p2w, but not as big of a scale as blizzard.
I'm not sure Blizzard is the type to take control of a cartoonish 2d game, they go for realistic 3d. But if I HAD to choose one, it'd be blizzard. I don't really care if it's p2p, as long as the game is worth the money.

I played WoW for a few months. Blizzard's customer service is great and they're all prompt and courteous~ I'd be overjoyed if Blizzard took over. Granted they keep maple free to play.
hmm, from my experience with Blizzard as there are hardly any hackers in their games its more an issue of would i shell out $60 to get rid of most of the hackers that are ruining the game.. *takes out wallet*

Honestly, you should keep an updated address if you want to utilize services. I update my address when I've moved at everything I care about banks Ebay PayPal Post Office (mail forwarding) Cell Phone company Employment ...now just add Blizzard to that list.
Also, the region change may result in you not being able to utilize the US-based AH. This is also to prevent scammers.

jagex should buy the game... they actualy make like weakly patches toi the games and they only take around 10 min- 1 hour and there is almost 0 bugs in RuneScape.
They might take the same stance they take with World of Warcraft if they take over Maplestory... Which means you can't pay real money to buy power (in game items with actually stats, you can only buy items with NX for character customization). Which might mean all those cubes and teleports and ap resets (etc) might be purchasable with mesos... YES PLEASE.
I don't think Blizzard has a specialty in 2D MMORPGS. If they make it free, and less of a P2P game, then that'll a hella better. Well, if Blizzard owned Nexon, that would be better. Other than that, I think Blizzard would use Maplestory to make them noticable as a gaming company.
I know KMS is the main part but im saying if Blizzard ran Maplestory we would have more exclusive things and we would probably be close to KMS. Some of you guys might not want a p2p but im saying I AM willing to pay. ALL maplestory runs on Nexon except ps. They wouldnt lose money cause it would be like pay monthly lets say $50 that would probably be more then what nexon makes now.
Blizzard won't make you pay for ingame items that help benefit your character's strength and will be less of a marketing scam than Nexon are. If Blizzard North took control of Maplestory back then it would be one of the best games to be ever made. Diablo 1 and 2 we staple games that even inspired Maplestory on some of it's mechanics such as Potential,Set items, and sockets.
Hard to really say unless it actually happens. I guess I would be for it if they kept it free, improved account and database security and would not change too much of the 2D game features. Maple isnt maple without its charm.
Unless they change virtually nothing about the game, I suppose I'd be fine. Though the biggest problem I'd have would be with the whole "soon" Blizzard is notorious for.
