Returning after a looong break

Hey guys it's been a while

I haven't played since zero came out, and a LOT of stuff has changed. Can somebody give me a tldr of all the patch notes since then? Like a lot of major stuff is different.

What are these spell traces that drop like candy but are apparently really useful? :0

etc.

Thanky much

Since Zero (from my hazy memories, the important parts):

- Pets automatically have meso magnet and item pouch
- Dual Blades and Cannoneers and Jetts and Blaze Wizards and Night Walkers, and the three main Resistance classes have been revamped.
- New Pirate hero introduced: Shade (uses knuckles and is actually pretty good, in my opinion).
- Tower of Oz's introduction. It's a system where you progress through floors of this dungeon in a limited time frame. Has probably the hardest boss in the game at the end.
- Maple Rewards shop: Bossing earns you rewards points, which you can redeem for great things like cubes and shops, among other things.
- Commerci, a new area in Dawnveil where you can get some pretty okay equipment (that is still generally outclassed by CRA equipment anyway).
- Tyrant Gloves in a new level 180 area accessible from around Leafre called Kiritas(?)... if you earn enough coins to buy them.
- Craftsmen Cubes and Meister Cubes have a higher drop rate from bosses, and cubes in general have a better tier up rate.
- Easy Horntail was added, and I some bosses (Zakum immediately comes to mind) have been nerfed. Horntail is easier to access, as is the case with most bosses through the boss tab (not sure how it works, though).
- General class balancing for some classes. Mihile is still largely ignored.
- The addition of Black Heaven - a series of "cinematic" quests. The first two parts are currently up, the third part is being added in a couple of days.
- Friendstory - another series of quests, though this one is a spinoff and set in high school (not like Red Leaf High - this one has chapters and plots).
- Elite Monsters and Elite Bosses - enemies (and bosses) that spawn when you hunt in an area for a while. Elite monsters are stronger than regular ones and have an added skill they can use (cast blind, for instance), and Elite Bosses are bosses that spawn (scaled to the area's level) that have pretty decent rewards.
- Areas have been shut off (such as Korean Folk Town and Florina Beach).
- Mushroom Kingdom has been reorganized, and is now for level 60+.
- The game is a less pay-to-win now! Hurray!

I might have missed some things though.

EDIT: Forgot the most important part: Spell Traces!
Spell traces have all but replaced most kinds of scrolls. Collect enough and you can scroll your equipment with a 100%, 70%, and 30%(?) scroll. The lower the rate, the better the stats. In addition, you can enhance your equipment using mesos. It's a lot easier to get better equipment than it used to be. With the enhancement of equipment comes something called 'Star Force' (equal to the number of stars on your equipment, where overalls give x2). Some areas need a specific amount of star force to train in, as the mobs have been buffed. If you destroy equipment enhancing, it also leaves an item trace(?) which you can apply to an item of the same kind (eg: Lionheart Cutlass to Lionheart Cutlass) to restore pre-destroyed stats. Pretty great, if you ask me.
