Are ps3 controllers weird
So I've started playing super smash bros melee on my computer but when I try to use my ps3 controllers, the right analog stick is just messed up. There is nothing I can do in settings to fix it. The problem is that it is so sensitive, that even gravity affects it. No, I don't visibly see the analog stick move because of gravity, but dolphin emulator and ds3 tool say I'm holding the stick down when I'm holding the controller, pressing nothing. If I turn the controller upside down, apparently im pressing up on the analog stick. ONLY happens with right analog stick, happens with both controllers. If I shake the controller or something, the input is all over the place.
Very annoying when I'm playing games and I get random inputs from that stick all the time ...
Anyone know anything about this?

Yes i was thinking it might be broken except that i have 2 with the exact same problem
Sounds like the right stick is broken. I just tried shaking my ds3 and it did not look like either joysticks were also wiggling.
Just turn the sensitivity down, and voila. Or hold it slightly down when you turn the emulator on (Holding it the way you normally would) so its starting calibration is what it'll be without you touching it.
Can you short hop with fox?
maybe it's broken?
Take the right analog stick out of the ps3 controller and replace with a small joypad
