Do you think posting urls should be cancelled?

Due to the stupidity of some current basilers (the people who just randomly click URLS), I think cancelling them would be a good idea because it's not like people ever post a url that's good. Just the urls that are either keylogged, or some youtube video that you can go yourself.

@Ace987: but then again, doesn't it go to the basil 2nd "warning" page which shows the intended link that you'll be going to o.o

Its not like this would actually improve anything with the site and its community... Its this kind of thinking that limits our freedom to show interesting links, we are human, we are social, this idea is anti social because we love to share ideas and links to fun facts and videos. There is nothing wrong with this and some people take it a little too far but the majority of the community would not benefit from this idea.

You can always just go to your internet options and delete your cookies and web saved or key input information. Copied and pasted information cannot be keylogged as easily, so there is no real problem if you know what you are doing when you browse the web.

Most would not really agree with your idea though, but it has some positive reinforcement to it, so I can understand what you are saying. Outright removal of using the URL fields though is a little much and it is always up to the user to check out the links.

Which works great on a computer. It's not so easy on tablets and phones. Then again, tablets and phones don't get keylogged as easily.

But the warning you people talk about includes ALL the URLS, not just the keylogged.

Sounds kinda mean. People don't go to random sites because they're stupid or want to get hacked.
We should just take the stupid people of BasilMarket

and push them to a different forum.

BasilMarket will be really empty though.
Then like, 90% of basil's revenue would disappear.

Its their fault for doing it. Besides if you don't like url's you dont have to use them.

but good urls are fun ;A; XD
to avoid the dangerous ones, maybe the use of url-shorteners should somehow be disabled here
usually you can tell if it's safe when it's not hiding behind tinyc or something

No.

Just use the program that checks the links if you think they are malicious.
