Switching Classes
I have a level 140 cannoneer at the moment. I'm trying to decide on whether I should keep him or change him to something else. I'm looking for a different experience, and I think buccaneer is the way to go. I just wanna make sure this is right because I don't wanna get all excited and used to the class just to switch again.
I prefer it if people who already went through this or have a few pirates would post their opinions, but I would appreciate all opinions anyway.

Why would you change if the revamp hasn't even come yet?
I heard you will have to get all new mastery books if you switch. If you can't afford a job switch with straight mesos, you won't be able to afford the books neither.
I'd stick with the 'neer. Currently the most realistic pirate.
I think it might help if I say a few things:
1)I have a level 176 BaM, so I'm not relying on my cannoneer too much.
2) Pretty well funded, ~1b-1.5b. Won't get me very far, but it's a good start.

I would say keep your cannoner and make a bucc. Cannoner, if you do not like him, can serve for alot stuff to fund your bucc. It is better to start bucc from lvl 1 so you can experience all fun things we all do. Personally I did not like the new update, I would prefer being under damage and funner than being a spam class with good dps output. I really enjoyed becoming a bucc, well before bb.
Once you become 150 you can have 15 line lasers and once you become 155 you can have 15 line barrage as well so...
where do we go to change classes?:/
170+ cannoneer is more fun, in my opinion...the hyper skill will become a summon, so you can max your dmg output...
Keep it for link skill
If I had to go with any pirate, it'd be a bucc.
Honestly, it's just my opinion, cannon shooters are too slow. I really like my bucc .
I have the coin but it expires on Dec 26 at 4:19, so I gotta make the decision soon before I have to waste about 100m.
I'm running low on money and it's getting harder to make some by the day, so it is somewhat an issue.
Personally i'm a bit sad with the bucc changes. We really only got buffed some, changed the charge up system and bucc blast is spammable. personally i'd wait until cannons get their red changes and play around with those before i'd decide to make the switch. If you don't have the coins it would cost probably in the 95mil range, so if you have little to no issues making money it wouldn't be a big deal.
