Yea it locks the difficulty when you first enter the head so no parts killed = hell.

that's rather sad because Gollux doesn't miss on you
you should probably kill the body first but minimum range to solo easy gollux from what I heard is 50k range I think it could be done with less
Depends on the difficulty but I think it's ~200-205 for hard and ~210 for hell.
