If Brian (daesius) changed back to FP he would be the strongest FP in windia hands down. Incygnition is a bw that used to be a FP who would also be top 5 FP for windia. Can't say anything about other servers since I obviously don't play there

@raymond2436 PDR may be an issue as yours is a tad low but since you're an FP, you can fly by. Other jobs may need 1 more line of pdr for weapon potentials. And no pro FP mages on YouTube? You must not be looking hard enough because there are a good handful of us out there that can solo cvell.

And soloing cvell while hitting 27m on the high end of paralyze? It's indeed possible. Maybe you won't have time to put on drop gear or call your mules in, but it's very possible.

And your range is 3m. You're hitting lower than me but your range is higher than mine? I think there're some mistakes in your calculations unless your %boss is really wacky.

Definitely not 3m range then. Also, you don't need 2m range to kill endgame bosses. I've been testing the limits of the lowest possible range required to kill endgame bosses and I noticed that I can still solo cvellum while hitting 28m per line of paralyze which is around 1.7- 1.8m clean range. People forget that with proper control, you can shave off about 500k of the range people assume you need.

Im pretty sure by the time I was at (dont remember) that it is not possible with my damage. I was only hitting 40m crits with FH and 100% capping with ME but thats not enough. @raymond2436 I'm curious, are you able to solo kill cvellum yet? I'm wondering because its pretty much the only boss I can't solo and I want to know how much more upgrading I would need to get there.

@Duriel123 pretty sure im close to 3m now. I can take off a few equips for decents/drop gear and im still 2-2m with active buffs

Yup, based on an extrapolation of my own range + damage he probably has about 2.5m range, which is way above hard gollux, in fact hellux wouldn't even bee too much of a problem at that point.

It is very easy to solo normal(and even hard) gollux on f/p. With 100k range you can easily do normal gollux and I managed to slide by hard gollux with 170k range(I had to pull some tricks with infinity though). A full set of cra + gollux + tyrant cape + 6-9% on each piece should get you enough damage for hard mode no problem.

@num2005 hi, 5b is honestly nothing when it comes to buying equips. 5b at most will give u 100k range. Thats only enough to do normal gollux which is by far not end game. End game bossing such as hard magnus, chaos root abyss, and hell gollux all takes 2-2m range and a very high character control. Getting to the point where u can do end game takes at least 100b mesos. Cubing is necessary for late game, regardless if u buy pre-cubed or do it yourself. Im on Windia server. The survivability of F/p is very low honestly, we basically only have teleport + magic guard. Magic Guard isnt even that useful for late game bossing as most of the moves do % hp and or 1 hit ko. Teleport can be nice for bossing such as perfectly dodging magnus rush but after playing Blaze Wizard as well I can honestly say I prefer flash jump. Also Flame Haze and Mist Explosion have long animations which can be death if used incorrectly.

With 5b f/p will do more damage than almost every boss when it comes to bossing, but no matter the class, 5b will never be enough to solo endgame bosses.
