Sweetywater Transposition Glitch ?
I was attempting to fuse my spear with the sw one the other day and failed 10 times, and went to bed cause I was livid. I woke up the next day and tried again and failed some more. Went to take my rage out on some golems when I noticed my damage had dropped significantly (400k, or ~25k range) and I couldn't figure out why. I resetted my hypers, unequipped and reequipped all my gears, checked my buffs, pots - nothing.
The only difference between the two points in time is an attempted transposition. This, I believe, caused my weapon to revert to some pre-scrolled state, though I'm not sure what. Visually, it says it's +10, 5 Stars. Numerically, I know it's not. I wasn't convinced of this until I stumbled across a video of another player trying to transpose his weapon.

Take a look at the stats of his weapon before the third or 4th transposition attempt. The +atk is +441k. Now look at it (you'll have to pause) around 1:28. After a failed attempt, the weapon suddenly displays +359k.
Is there something I'm unaware of? Or is this something that needs to be addressed? Losing all that damage is pretty annoying, and I'd love for it to be corrected.

Wow, this video and your story make me feel like I was extremely lucky with transposing. My 1H sword succeeded after 3 tries o.o

Maybe ur codex set? Possibly link skills? Echo maybe?other buffs u might not know?
Well good catch cooldown. Completely overlooked that.
I'm still mystified by how I went from dealing 2.2m to doing 1.8m. I havent succeeded, so I still have the same weapon. None of my gears have changed, I'm using the same buffs and potions. Bizarre.

Yeah, his buffs run out at 1:25
Well I'm not sure why you would lose range on a faile transpose, however you will often on a successful one do to losing potentials.
I think his range decreases in the video because his buffs run out.
Edit: Have you checked your character cards and link skills?
