Why do girls text hi and dont text you after
So i had a friend who was a girl and we were very close but for some reason one day we stopped talking so like a while after she would text me hi, i would text hi back and she wouldn't reply after. She did it a couple times to me, so does that mean anything?

Sometimes if Person #2's response is bland, the original sender, Person #1, will think that Person #2 will not want to talk to Person #1.
Happens a lot when someone has a crush on another person, and if they feel like one person doesn't want to talk then they will avoid conversation.
She probably found someone more interesting to talk to in the time that it took you to reply and you pretty much sealed the envelope by replying with a boring "hi".
I would have just not replied and would have sent her a text later on that has something to start a conversation on.
Some girls are just that boring and uninterested, or they're jerks.
