Laptop turned very slow after formatting?

I just formatted my laptop today using the built in Toshiba format service which can be activated by holding 0 and turning on the laptop, all the drivers were installed successfully and I did not face any problems... Copied the backed up stuff from my USB flash, but the only problem I am facing is that the start up turned extremely slow and is causing my laptop to freeze when I click anything for the first 5-10 minutes which is pretty annoying! Is there any way to fix this problem or is this caused by some corrupted file?
Thank you

I think you should format using the windows CD. Sometimes formatting the way you did, the computer tends to keep the old files from before you formatted.
So, I'd say get your hands on a windows cd and format from the BIOS, and choose to delete everything from all partitions.

Either that, or not all your drivers are installed properly.
