1920x1080 resolution?

Hi, I downloaded Maple on my new PC with a 1080p monitor, but I cannot set the game's resolution above 1366x768! Any idea how I can fix that? I tried lots of fixes, but nothing worked
Thank you!
Oh yeah, is it possible to move with WASD keys?
I think the problem is that quite a lot of maps were made for a small resolution. At 1080p... BLACK BORDERS EVERYWHEREE
They're having to redo all the maps and mobs anyway for the new 2d skeleton animation engine. I believe that Urus uses a higher resolution to help support the "zoom in, zoom out" feature during the boss fight.
I hope they remake everything in HD and allow users with slower machines to downscale it (like most PC games do).

1920 x 1080 accounts for 34% of what Steam gamers use in previous month. True 1366 x 768 is a very common screen resolution, but so is 1920 x 1080.

And file size isn't really an issue here. MS is actually on the lite side when it comes to storage requirement for MMO.
"Newcomers"

Also, does file size actually matter in 2015...

giving a 1080p option might require increasing the game size by 5gb or more (the map file alone is 1.7gb in the current version), and i have my doubts that would benefit many, considering that the main target audience is the casual player. the game is already 8gb file in size, which is huge. increasing it to 12-13gb would make the game even less attractive to potential newcomers.
"file size isn't an issue" for players who are already hooked in the game and have more than enough space to accommodate for the extra storage requirement, but the same can't be said for new players, which the game desperately needs.
btw, they didn't even bother to make cutscenes in 720p - they are all in 450p - 576p

edit: @OP you could try asking them to provide a 1080p option, though don't get your hopes high. giving a higher resolution is not exactly their top priority.
most people have a 768p display (the most common for laptops), so increasing the file size significantly to give a modest -if any - increase in visual quality is not really worth it.
Increasing the file size never seemed to bother them before.
When I started this game, the file size was just over 1 GB.
MapleStory only supports up to 1366x768. When you play it at fullscreen it IS still rendered at 1366x768, but upscaled by your GPU driver to fullscreen resolution.
It is a wonder why Nexon hasn't introduce native 1080p support on this game. It is 2015 for crying out loud.
It's probably cuz you don't have a video card that would let you use various resolutions, and integrated graphics on your cpu are probably trash. But I don't know if you have a video card or not so I can't be the judge.
Yeah, the 2nd keyboard type has no change on movement keys. Well, I guess I cannot do neither then?
Yeah unless you remap your keys or something in Windows
Used to be possible to open Regedit and change the resolution to whatever you wanted but Nexon patched that, so I don't think U can anymore. I think if you change your keyboard type to the other one in that choice you were given when you created your character, you can use WASD to move. Can probably do it in key settings as well.
Yeah, the 2nd keyboard type has no change on movement keys. Well, I guess I cannot do neither then?

Changing to the other key set doesn't do much, your still stuck with moving with the arrow keys. Just some other keys change around.
