That's dependent on how many people reply to you. You can simply click the update on the first page and Ctrl+F and type in "Character" or "Expansion". That takes less time than creating a thread actually. I'm not hating on you for it, I'm just saying that with that effort you could've easily resolved your own issue.
For the most part, I am trying to make people into people who are able to fend for themselves and become a bit more self reliant than have everything spoon-fed to them. Hopefully the result will be self-reliant people who are able to help others who are actually struggling and in need.

People need to learn how to browse the official website. This is like the only game where people do not actually look at the website of the game they actually play on. Why bother playing the game if you don't even intend to look at the website for your answers? Lot of questions could have been answered there and it won't take forever to figure it out either. Lastly, someone made a post earlier today about the free character slot on basil. He could have searched here on the forum to find that post and then get his answer. Point is this been answered multiple times already and the website states it. Their are no excuse for him not knowing.
If you go to the general maplestory section on this forum. You would see multiple posts about the updated notes as well as the 12th thread down about the character slot expansion be given out. it's right there on the first page. People are just too damn lazy.
