Like i said they are even in hp and damage reduction, DS has more defense/mag defense without many funds, then again u have +18%hp from pot, so thats a lot from only pot. Finally like i said Ds has 30% guard chance, aran in the other hand always got hits and doesnt have any form of defense agaisnt DR(like almost all classes) and raven storm its a instant heal, then u take in account that many bosses now do %hp attacks, so hp or damage reduction doesnt count there, then i still think DS has more survibality.

well u r right about the %hp but 30% hp its A LOT and a big difference, i mean my aran only has like 15k hp (with a helment that gives 9%hp and my ds with dark meta on reachs almost 25k hp.
the damaga reduction its minimal even if its 25% more, bcuz arans have almost no defense increse (560 def and mag def with 100+ combos) or guard rate (DS has 30% guard rate with possesed aegis full), u cant use body pressure agaisnt bosses with DR bcuz its an instant death, Ds can reach max defense(9999 def) easily(that helps a lot) with black hearted strengh(100% more magic def too) and DS can ignore DR for the first 20 sec with dark meta's hyper, so i still think DS has more survivality than Aran, i really like the changes nexon made to arans, but they still lack of damage lines tbh, but both classes are pretty good.

DS has 30% more HP than Aran but Aran has 25% more damage reduction. Arans drain is better than DS, though Aran has to actually do damage to regain HP unlike DS's Raven storm.
