Questions about classes and jobs

Hey guys,
glad i'm here posting another thread on Basil after quitting maple for one and a half year (since the release of AB), anyways, I got really confuse with all the new release classes and the revamps o.o. Anyone kind enough to explain to me which class is the strongest now, which class is best at bossing, leveling, fun, or just overall?

@reginald24: Phantom was nerfed at some point (especially when your stolen skills had cooldowns when you switched out) where it was nearly impossible to fund them to get good damage. It was unintentional for Nexon, as Explorers really needed buffs, and Phantom just followed along. Mercedes are still out there but not the optimal for damage. They've never been OP since the initial release in-game. I'm guessing the original design was for a sturdy, i-frame, training class. They have the potential to be one of the best bossers and an incredibly mobber with funding (#ThereWeGoAgainWithNexonLogic)

Well Phantom has always been strong since the day I started MS. I've always been waiting for Phantom to be "Outclassed" since the day I pick up Phantom so it would be easier for me to fund him,but that did not happened, BTW, anyone know what happened to merc? I thought they used to be one of the best bosser in the game

@natty2: Hi there, cutie~
Zero isn't exactly the "best" when it comes to bossing if you don't have great control. Despite what people say ("I can solo Gollux with [low range]!" ), it's pretty difficult to control because to optimize damage, you'll need to attack with both Alpha and Beta. Alpha's skills often move, leaving the character vulnerable to different damage-dealing statuses/effects (can be seen well at Gollux, if you dash across, he may just use his hand)
Kaiser is starting to be more mainstream with his Wing Beat, but I have to caution the OP. If you (@reginald24) do decide to play Kaiser, take note that Wing Beat (and other summon skills like it, namely Frozen Orb which makes Phantom OP) does cause frequent disconnection issues if you continue to spam it. The best option at the moment (or from at least what I see) is to use Wing Beat + Gigas Wave and repeat

Let me tell you this;
The mainstream bossers right now are:
[*] Phantom
[*] Zero
[*] Luiminous
[*] Xenon
[*] Dual Blade
[*] Kaiser (?)
[*] Shade*

Kaiser isn't really around lately, and Shade is brand new, lots of people train it, and say he's fun. He's the new trend, so people use it to boss, train, and stuff.
Also, he has the coolest binding skill so far, I can bind zakum and you see a HUGH yellow snake binded around zakum~

Dear @mrbasil,
Please try to put up a [somewhat accurate] DPS/DPM Chart and Thread describing the most optimal class for people to play depending on playstyle compatibility to appease the needs of at least 50 threads a day. Thank you, have a good day.

OT: Welcome back, you're going to be [somewhat] happy with what's coming up. KMS is currently developing (or is hinting) 5th job, so be excited for that. We've gotten a lot since Tempest, I can't even recap it all. Basically:
- All Classes got Hypers
- Nexon Buffed almost all the Bosses
- 3/5 of the Cygnus Knights have been Revamped (the last two should be out by the end of the year)
- Explorers were Revamped
- Mobs were buffed a sufficient amount, you either need to have good damage to stabilize or understand you'll be training for longer duration
- And more OP classes have been released

EDIT: Anyone kind enough to explain to me which class is the strongest now, which class is best at bossing, leveling, fun, or just overall?
Strongest Class is based off of Funding.
Bossing is also based off Funding.
Leveling should be dependent on Damage and EXP (also based off Funding).
Fun... Finally something I can elaborate on. Despite it being very subjective, many people can agree when I say that these classes should be your best bet:
- Mechanic (they've been slowly buffed back up to the former glory status)
- Hayato (low damage but they chain skills very fluidly)
- Phantom (They're OP as heck at the moment. Since the Explorer revamp brought along a DrK buff that multiplies your range based off HP, and one of I/L's skills provides 20+ hits p/s)
- Jett (just because half of Basil will agree; they have a fancy flash jump, that's for sure)
- Beast Tamer (very versatile, a whole bunch of skills to choose from depending on situation)
- Any Cygnus Knight (cheap to fund, plus they all have unique playstyles/flashy skills)
- Demon Avenger/Slayer
Overall is hard to say. I'm guessing it all depends on funds (#StopUsingNexonLogicHastag) and how much you can have fun with a class. Good luck~
