Your opinion on different religions/positions
I'm making a statistic project, and I was interested in peoples view on the different religions.
It would be great if you would rate the different religions below, rate them on a scale from 1 to 100 where 100 is the best possible religion imaginable, and 1 is the worst religion imaginable.
1. Christianity
2. Islam
3. Judaism
4. Unitarian Universalism
5. Hinduism
6. Buddhism
7. Scientology
8. Satanism
Extra "sidetrack"
9. Atheism ( I know its not a religion, but I want to know peoples opinion on this position too )
When given a fast rate, please state what position you have.
Thank you all very much for your time.

some people have to enlighten themselves and see what actually is satanism..instead of just saying that they pray satan

I honestly don't care what someone's beliefs are, so I'd weight them all equally. However, anyone that thinks they are somehow smarter than anyone else for believing something needs a good smack.
My personal beliefs are Christian. I can actually understand anyone of faith (Jew, Muslim, etc...). I have a harder time understanding how life is quite as fulfilling with an utter lack of faith, but oh well, that's no harm done to me, they are welcome to (not) believe whatever they want.
I'm not too fond of the first 7 religions, but LeVayen Satanism is a new level of awful. Ayn Rand, candles, and webpages with black backgrounds and purple text are my idea of hell. Just thinking there are people out there who enjoy that sort of thing gives me chills.
1-9: let them believe in what they want.
i don't care.
Religion is a set of beliefs that direct daily life. Atheism means that you believe that there are no higher beings directing the course of the world, thus Atheism IS a religion.
OT: I don't know. I've only experienced Christianity. Well, I'm a Christian who also believes in Science, let's just leave it at that.
Not correct. There are:
1) Theists (All the religious, all religions)
2) Atheists (Lack of religion, no belief in a deity or higher power)
1. Christianity - 35 (Used to have rampant hate towards Christianity, but no longer mind as long as they aren't interfering with studies and science)
2. Islam - 1 (I highly disagree with the values they preach, how they react to the Koran being burnt, how they treat women, ETC)
3. Judaism - 35
4. Unitarian Universalism - 55 (I respect their search for the truth but i believe they are going about it the wrong way)
5. Hinduism - 40
6. Buddhism - 55 (Although i disagree with religion in general, they are peaceful)
7. Scientology - 1 (Scientology is just as credible as all the other religions, people just don't realize it. I dislike Scientology for their fantasy beliefs)
8. Satanism - 1 (Christianity linked, no respect for 1. Believing in a God in the first place ~ 2. Choosing to go AGAINST that God for no reason what so ever)
9. Atheism - 100
I chose Atheism as 100 for multiple reasons. Many people link Atheism to a hate for religion and arrogant jerks, however Atheism is purely the disbelief of a higher power or 'god'. An Agnostic is not so much as an "I don't care about Religion" but more of a "I'm not sure if God is real or not". I feel that if we want to advance in technology and our understanding of the Universe, we cannot accept religion as an answer. I do not, however, believe religion should be abolished as many people derive their morality and reasoning from it.
I do believe that religion should be left to the side when it comes to getting answers to questions.
I'm more curious about why you made this thread. What exactly do you hope to get from it?
I wrote that in the beginning, if I get enough people who actually wants to give a rate. I wrote: "I'm making a statistic project, and I was interested in peoples view on the different religions."
Because judging people because of what they believe is wrong.
I'm not asking you to judge people, I'm asking you to judge only the religions through your overall view upon it. I'm not saying that anyone is right or not in their judgement, nor am I asking for why, each and every person has his or her position. And if you think that everyone is equal, then give them all the same number.
I'm more curious about why you made this thread. What exactly do you hope to get from it?
I have nothing wrong with other peoples beliefs and will not judge them.
Then why comment in a thread about it?
