Are mages good not funded
I was going to make a I/L mage for a critical ring, but then i realized all my equips are dex,str,luk. No int.
So can mages level pretty fast even not funded?

You're better off making the class for whatever you already have equips for, like a thief...seeing as how you're a CB.
Post-Jump, F/Ps will be pretty good unfunded, but that doesn't help you out very much.
OT: Mages level pretty fast no matter what, especially I/L Wizards.

Aside from myself, I know of at least a dozen mages in Bera and other worlds that put heavy funding into their mages.

Without funds a cleric and an i/l can still level quickly. F/P are slow by nature so don't even bother until you have some funds.
Every class needs funding to do real damage.
There's no need for funding a character for the ring. You're probably just gonna delete the character right after you get it.
I have nothing. Would it just be better to make something else?
