Best way to fund w/7b
Hello all, recently just started a DS, fell in love with the class and I'm level 115ish. I have about 7b to fund him with, but I'm not sure what's the best way to go about it.
The only [i]decent[/i] thing I have on me atm are my 9% STR earrings.
Right now there's a VIP 1h axe 2L with 200+ att and 50 STR, but the potential sucks. It's 4.5b... Is it worth it? I heard that a good weapon would boost my range more than %STR gear.

Tyrant and RA is cheap right now after marvel.
worry about that dmg at a higher level.
@Cuhpcakes I agree, you can turn 7b into a lot more, you'll be disappointed in your dmg if u only work with 7b.
Also like he said beware of overpriced stuff. I know the feeling of having a semi-substantial amount of money in the fm everything looks like a good buy. If you use that right you could get some good gear for your Ds
Turn that 7b into 10b.
Do what @Mkesl said, you'll benefit a lot more in the long run.
Now you need to get both ATK and %STR, if you go for just one of them, your range isn't going to increase as much.
Either go full empress (shoulder included) with a terminus/fafnir weapon or go with common %STR gear along with Nova items and a terminus/Fafnir.
Going for the latter of the two would be a better idea as you upgrade more freely in the future whereas for empress, your choices are restricted to just empress.
Play your cards right and you should have 80-120%STR along with a decent amount of attack. Remember not to go for anything overpriced, it's not worth it.
I bought a Terminus 1h mace clean no pot for 1.5b in Bera. Thats 173 attack clean, 10 slots hammered, and 30% boss. With decent scrolling from events I could get that to 220 attack with out using AEE's. My point is alot of people are attempting to sell their old perfected weapons (Crushed Skull, Empress,Vip) for alot more then they are worth. I believe those weapons are on the curve of becoming obsolete due to loveless,Fafnir, and terminus higher base attack. So my advice would be go for one of those clean, and scroll with events to save money. Put the rest into % str. After a while you will have a MUCH better weapon then the people selling them for 4.5b and have spent a fraction of the price
