Why are people like this?

Let me start off by saying: while I do believe in the values of multiculturalism, sometimes the crap just goes too far. I'd like to share with you guys something that really grinds my gears...

So here I am, training at LHC like any normal lv.121. I join a party with a bish and the exp is great. I notice that HS has ran out, and i hop over and ask: "hs please". He and the rest of the party start talking in (what i assume is) Spanish, and he still hasn't buffed me. I don't understand a word they're saying (I live in canada, we study french here instead of Spanish), so I tell them: "uh, sorry guys...I don't speak spanish...or whatever it is that you're speaking...would you mind just buffing me please?" This apparently must have pissed them off because I got kicked from the party

I was pretty upset because they had ostracized me simply because I didn't speak their language...this isn't the first time this has happened either, although the other times they weren't as rude as to kick me. Everyone is always trashing americans for being arrogant and ignorant, and yet you decide to play a game that's ALMOST ENTIRELY in the english language, but you don't bother to communicate with other people in that language? Does that really rank you above americans then? Is that not being too proud of your own language and culture to speak english? I'm of chinese descent. Yes, my culture is interesting. Is that something that makes me better than, say, germans? not at all. So what makes hispanic people so much better than americans?

I'm not going to generalize and say that all hispanic maplers are like this, but to the few that are: stop being such a hypocrite and look at how you yourselves are acting. Being hispanic doesn't give you permission to be rude.
