GameStop listed it as June 29th, but most people agree it's probably going to be some time between August to December instead.

@CrayonScribble: You're implying that when a game doesn't include the latest of technologies (including beta periods), it's a subpar product, when it's not necessarily true.

How unique/effective is the combat system for anyone who has played the beta weekend? Also is the questing system more dynamic than WoW?

I thought they wanted to keep it that like so people with bad computers could play it as well like they did with GW1, thus they are focusing more on the story instead of in graphics?

If you want something that will give most PC's a run for their money on the higher settings, go play something like ArcheAge instead.

@ShiroNoYami: Firstly, the graphics themselves are outdated. They look pretty sloppy by standards nowadays, the animations, sprites and physics etc.

DX11 is far more effecient than DX10, around 20% or so in most games. DX9 is just...

The option for Direct X 9 allows for those with Windows XP to still run the game and there isn't anything wrong with that. If you don't like Dirext X 9, just tick on Direct X 10 once support is implemented.

TERA ran on Dx9 during it's beta as well, and implemented Dx10 later; Guild Wars 2 is doing the same thing. Your point?

I played the beta weekend and I thought it was pretty great Not as AMAAAZING as everyone made it seem like tho. It's still definitely a good game but not game of the year. I found TERA to be more fun, mostly cuz I don't really have many friends that PC game so not many ppl to play Guild Wars 2 with (most of my friends left to play Diablo III lawl), and I found I could solo and find more ppl to play with a lot easier in TERA than I could Guild Wars 2.

However, it is just the beta so I'm hoping to see more in the next beta weekends Overall it's a fun game and I enjoyed it though~

Gonna get a job in the summer so I can start playing TERA Online ^^ The beta was really fun to me. Got to lvl 24, castanic lancer.

Not for the public betas.

I'm going to buy the game but it definately isn't perfect.

-Graphics are outdated, game uses dx9.
- No aim type combat system like Skyrim, TERA.
- Dynamic events all feel the same, get boring after the first couple hours.
- [b]Very little content[/b], game pretty much ends once I get to max level and get some gear that I like the look of. i.e 1 month...
