Try logging in one more time. I logged in and it's loading right now. Idk, might suddenly crash and turn out that there is an unscheduled maintenance.

LOL when I suspect that theres something wrong with maple or an unscheduled maintenance, i come here to confirm.

I saw "Monster Life" then it flashed to 8th anniversary channel select screen

probably XD maple loads pretty slow on my computer
I doubt you can log in when the worlds are down.
i got the same problem i cant stay logged in for more than 5min
