Link Skill Question

For Kanna/Demon Avenger's link skill, does it add +10% to your range? How does %total damage work in general?

TD is tricky. Some sources of TD don't add into your range, while most do. The trick is to figure out the amount of TD you have that does add into your range and divide your range by it.

Example: Let's say you have 50% TD that adds into your range, but you figure out that a certain skill gives you 30% TD that doesn't. And let's say you have 500k range.
500k / 1.5 => 333333 range. Kanna and DA links are 10% each, so you would multiply 333333 by 1.6 if you have one, or 1.7 if you have both => 533332 or 566666 range.
6.64% or 13.34% range increase.

However, in terms of damage increase, that invisible 30% TD is added eventually to your damage. So really, you had 333333 range * (1.5+.3) => 599999 "damage range".
Kanna or DA would push it up to 333333 * (1.5+.3+.1) or 333333 * (1.5+.3+.2) => 633332 or 666666 "damage range".
Your damage would go up by 5.55% or 11.11%

it's %Total. it directly affects your range. mind you, there are certain things that make the visual range you see in the UI a lie.
1. some skills affect your range like it is %Total but it isn't eg. DrK's Cross Surge. if you had 100% Total then use CS, you'd be shown your range with 200% so 100k w/ 100% is 200k and with 200%, 300k. except your effective range is 2x the 100% Total so 200k*2 = 400k
2. some character cards add to your range but doesn't actually. so if you had 1000 range and char card +200 dmg and use a skill of 500% dmg, you do not do 500% of 1200 (1200 being the visual range) for 6000 dmg. you do 500% of the 1000 then add on 200 so 5200
3. if your main attacking skill has Reinforce, that's another 20% Total that doesn't show up. if you have 10k range. w/ 20% Reinforce and 100% Skill, you'll do 12k dmg. if you then gain 100% Total, you have 20k range but you do not double your dmg output to 24k. it's 120% of 10k, so you do 22k.
knowing what skills are multipliers and what skills are %Total is difficult

%Boss and %Total are basically the same thing, with %Boss just triggering only when it's a Boss. so if you had 10k range, 50% Total and 50% Boss, you have "100% Total" so you have effective range of 20k. this also implies you never want to keep %Total lines on potential since it's inferior.
