Feed or Back

I was playing Ekko mid in a draft game, with Warwick as jungler.
I trade with some other champion, ult, and back off.
That's when Warwick decides to chase him/her, and ends up dying.
He lashes out at me for running away like a pu$$y.
So, that got me wondering,
is it better to be yelled at for feeding a champion, or get yelled at for backing off?
I'm sure this has happened multiple times for many people.
