Why does maplestory runs so laggy?
Hello guys I just came back to maplestory since my old laptop was always running maplestory in a lagging way and iI couldnt even do Romeo and juliet so i stopped playing now in my birthday I got a new PC.The thing is my new computer is still running kinda laggy(alot laggy actually) its almost as if there was no difference in gameplay.In my old pc i used to run lol at 25 fps and in this one i get up to 90 fps.
If needed here are the system specs
4 gb ram
intel(r) Pentium(CPUN3530@ 2.16ghz)
Intel HD graphics
64-bit
windows 8.1

No actually it was a xbowman.It was good till 3rd job (in my old pc). Not it lags like hell
If it's not your internet connection it's the potato servers.

I noticed this on my own BT while helping my girlfriend level one of her characters to 140, but whenever I tried to R&J PQ with her on my BT (using Cat mode anyways), I would lag severely, even if I was just standing in one place not attacking (which I don't like to do). However, any other character I had wouldn't have lag issues unless they had extremely rapid hit rates (IE: Xenon using Blade Dance), but even then, the lag was not that much... just made the game a little choppy. But on my BT, the lag was so bad, it took me almost 3 minutes to open my party menu, select my girlfriend's character, right click them and give them the party leadership. The mouse icon only teleported from point to point, making it almost impossible to use it. Near the end of the 3 minutes, it settled down long enough for me to do it, then log off. I popped on another character and boom - no lag whatsoever.

Well i do sometimes get denied access to the nexon servers but it happens like for 3 weeks every 3 months.

their servers are old, and this year they had a catastrophic failure. so i reckon their hardware is degrading, but they are reluctant to replace it, cuz money. yah.
