Inner Abilities Question

Like title said, I recently recirculated my 12% buff duration from my inner ability in hopes for a higher % (35%+). I already have a mech card so I have 15% buff duration. In doing so, I stumbled upon an S rank Boss Damage ability, +18%. Should I keep this? Things to know, I cap on bosses without FC on, but I was just thinking if it's worth it to recirculate this because we do not have a 50m damage cap yet. This 18% boost increased my asura's by 500k more compared to before.

@xkillo32 the thing is, i cap without FC on. casting FC will just only lower my dpm and the only times I cast it is when I can asura with it on. otherwise, it won't increase my dmg until unlimited comes but then 18% boss damage is pretty helpful too.

unlimited FC increases ur overall dmg by 20%

@GoXDS: Hi johnny! Orly? Is buff mastery the only skill in MS that increases buff duration? If so, probably only skills that increase buff duration affect hyper skills. All other possible ways of increasing it is azwan and character cards (and potential?). Maybe what they meant when they said that buff duration only applied to those? idk

Wow I'd trade you if I could. I keep trying to get a decent % boss, but it keeps giving me 5% and below and I usually get 18-24% buff duration at least once each time I attempt to get boss damage lol.

@iDivideZer0 @roy5577 well Nexon lied. yes, in KMS it is probably fixed, but here, at the very least for Mages and Epic Adventure, Buff duration definitely affects it. you can't tell me my 90 sec Epic Adventure (60s without Buff mastery, 90s with) is server lag.

i got myself 30% buff and its amazing. only with a 10 sec fc cool down, im just waiting to getmyself 30% skill recovery item and im set

Keep the % Boss Damage. Asura is really screwy as it's affected by server lag (like all skills with cooldowns), which sometimes affects the duration since it's the only unique skill right now that auto hits rapidly, and repeatedly.

I remember % Boss Damage and % Total Damage affecting SP. That was weird, but so useful.

@Hydroxiide I see, no one can predict nexon so I think I'll just keep the 18% boss for now. We'll never know when they'll fix hypers not being affected by buff duration. Idk if any of you guys remember this, but remember when they "fixed" shadow partner? Back then, our boss damage also applied to our SP hits, so we would be doing more (For example, it's capped at 699999k, but prior to fix, it'd be higher than this.) So i'll be safe for now and keep my boss %.

Ummm... I'm pretty sure buff duration and cooldown decrease has no effect on hyper skills. The extra duration you are getting is caused by server lag not buff duration. iirc it's already been proven by other DB's that it doesn't affect

You are right. My bad. FC would need more than 50% duration to be infinite FC.

@Hydroxiide, I haven't noticed a change in Asura's length with buff duration, or nothing that ties it with buff duration. I think it has something to do with the server lag. My asura, when I time it with a stop watch, lasts anywhere from 8-14 seconds and this was the same cause before I recirculated it. I also have 3L and I tried over 600+ now and the highest buff duration I got was +18%. I also went through like 4 +1 attack speeds too, but I can't seem to get anything higher ~_~

Keep it. With unlimited, it will definitely help more. As for buff duration, there is no need. The moment FC runs out, you can use it again. Also, since you have the mech 15% duration, FC will not run out before you can use it again.

Also, how long does asura last? If its 10 seconds, then 35%(+15% = 50%) will definitely add more to dps than 18% boss.
