Internet disconnecting every couple minutes
Hi I have windows 7 and every couple of minutes my internet will say that its disconnected and I will have to manually disconnect and reconnect to get it back on again. This is soooo annoying and I'm afraid to go on any boss fights cause I'll dc. I know its not my router or anything because no one else in my house seems to be having this problem. Help? D:

hi guys so i tried a couple things and so far my computer has been working pretty well

i used shekar s' suggestion
Look into a few things.
1. Does your laptop have a button that disables the network adapter? If so ensure you are not pressing it by accident
2. Are your network adapter drivers up to date? If not update them.
3. Enter your router and assign your computer a reserved IP. You might be having an IP conflict when another device connects. You may also want to assign other devices reserved IPs

yeah exactly my problem
on the same laptop if i switch to mac (i have bootcamp) the internet doesnt cut out at all so i know it must be a windows 7 problem
The same thing happens to the laptop I'm currently on and my smartphone. Every other laptop/PC/phone can connect to the router fine and never disconnect either. It just started happening like two weeks ago with the laptop and like 5 weeks ago for my phone.
