The Journey Has Come to an End
Six years and I finally was hacked... Oh well. Sure it sucks, but I can always move on. I just wanted to say farewell and good luck to everyone and share my ticket.
"I know writing this ticket is pointless, since there is nothing you can really do to get my items back. But I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed playing Maplestory. Although I did just lose 6 years of hard work, I am fine and think I am ready to move on to a different game. Before I leave I would like to suggest a few things you should change to help other people who play this game enjoy themselves. Of course I will first mention my desire for you to help solve the issue of hacking accounts. I know it is very difficult to do this, but I believe it is the most dire problem that needs to be resolved in some way. Hacking in-game is not nearly as bad as losing all your hard work and friends when someone takes control of your account. To help you with this I will tell you how me and my friend Brandon (Whos account was also hacked last year) lost our accounts. It always occurred when we were AFK in our stores in the FM. Our computers would completely turn off and by the time we logged on, our accounts were being used by another person. I hope this info helps you stop even more people from getting hacked in the future. Another thing I would like to get off my chest as a loyal player of Maplestory is my constant notice of harassment in-game. Nearly every day I hear people complaining about certain highly funded individuals kill stealing and purposely hurting people feelings. They even sometimes use NX megaphones to publicly say horrible things to each other. Its never seems that these people are ever punished. I would like to tell you a story about my friend FluxKnight. He had a blood disease which did not allow him to get out of bed. One day I seen a megaphone that was making fun of his disease and how much he played Maplestory. Fluxknight had died last year after his dad had kicked him out due to high medical bills. I remeber him always being sad at the fact that people treated him so poorly. I do not think that people should be treated this way in real life, nor in a video game. All I wish is for you to focus on helping players rather than giving us more content which seems to cause more anger than pleasure. Trust me when I say that a majority of players would rather have a patch devoted to stopping hacks and harassment than new game content. I do not wish for you to compincate me for losing my equipment and money. All I wish is that you prevent what happend to me from happening to anyone else. Goodbye and thankyou."

Really sorry about all that. I'm a long time player of MapleStory, too (started MS right after beta) and every day I fear of being hacked. And deeply sorry for your friend. Good luck.

Well... I still dont think the dad kicking out his own son part sounds real... but I can get the picture.
