updated post to include known info on Microsoft's augmented glasses.
Too bad the effect will be less if the lights were turned on.
That's pretty sweet, trying to immerse the gamer.
@Ness: Even not after, I always had more luck with it and Vista was always a lot faster than XP.

Yeah, after SP2.
Ugh... all of these new video game gimmicks hurt my eyes... especially the 3DS...
@Chema: Vista was good. Better than XP. I prefer Windows phone over iPhone. Windows 8 was meant for tablets, they made it for PC for some reason though.
The N64 was good. Kinect and PS3 were bad. But I don't think Microsoft would be dumb enough to make TWO products that are terrible.
Speaking of terrible Microsoft products:
Windows phone, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows ME, Kinect and Kinect 2.0: The electric boogaloo
The Kinect is one of the most advanced pieces of technology an average consumer can buy. The problem lies with the implementation of the technology. This is by far the most amazing use for the Kinect I have seen. I am eager to see how this technology will work with the augmented vision glasses/headset.

No, not really.
Just another gimmick.
So, augmented reality? This will make games look great and require you to actually turn in order to see behind you. But, then again, we have the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset. I am leaving most of my faith in that since its more immersive. I seriously don't think this is the "future" of gaming.
Future doesn't mean it will be good (see: N64, Ps3, kinect)
I loled at one of the comments. Tatas flying everywhere.
