When it starts to encroach on other people's rights. It's like why we can't play music really loud at night without cops coming and telling you to stop because you're disturbing the peace.

The First Amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfere with the right to peaceably assemble, or prohibit the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. Peaceful protest will never be illegal.

>Jean Quan is unfit to be mayor.

People keep on saying that, but was she the one who declared that it was alright to use force to clear out protesters that were apparently a 'safety hazard'?
