After playing old maple again.
and comparing it to MS2, I have come to the conclusion that MS2 will be nothing like what made MS popular and the game is just going to be a gear grinding MMO. After watching a lot of gameplay of the new game, I was already concerned I wouldn't like it, but after playing old maple (I enjoy pizza) I have realized that MS2 won't be able to pull off what Maple did, I guess they aren't trying to go in that direction though. Let's just hope MS2 is a good game on it's own.

Yes, for selected maps there side screen mode too. Mushmom's map "Someone Elses House" is one example. There other maps like that too but forgot.
ms2 has SIDESCREEN MODE just like reg maple. Seach ms2 mushmom on yourtube.
Just going point out that MS2 isn't suppose to be like MS1 it was never suppose to be. It has similarities like MS1 such as music and some monsters/boss and skills but that's it. The gameplay is just Alpha stage. We have no clue what other updates will bring. The only people that will feel different about this game are the ones use to use spamming potions all day. This game involves a bit more skill than MS1 has and team work. As for the grinding for gear. I don't think so. There also tons of quests to do an the social aspect such as mini games, housing, boss raids, etc. In future pvp and dungeon building too. Plus Alpha meant for testing I am sure there be some tweaks before full released.
