Mages with maces?
a long time ago, in a faraway land ...
i was quite sure from certain NPC's descriptions (forgot which ones) that it said mages wielded staves, wands and maces.
i'm not entirely sure about the maces, but there are a few which can be equipped by warriors+mages.
why bother allowing for both if nobody's gonna wield maces on their magicians?
is there some forgotten legend of the mace-wielding melee-mage? (sorry, i dont mean battlemages)

Its all about staff and dagger now.
@DemoDango: Yeah, the Mace (level 15), Iron Mace (level 20), and Fusion Mace (level 25) were all good choices for STR Mages at the time. You weren't dreaming.

Actually before Big Bang this very Evan was a warrior-Evan, here is the story: when I was doing king Pepe I didn't use pots and when I ran out of pots i would attack people with my Omok book .
I used to be a STR Cleric, but only because it took so long to kill monsters, and I saw someone else hitting higher damage with a mace. I think I did have Energy Bolt at the time, too. o.o
I deleted that Cleric about seven years ago, after I learned that I had messed up by putting ability points into STR to wield the mace.
yeah it was a lvl 20 mace that both warriors and mages could use. it was sold in both ellinia and perion.....
@McAwesomesauce: No, there were actually maces designated for magician AND warrior use, as I recall.
I believe he meant the Fusion Mace.
I was a STR-mage in Khaini years ago.. good times.
I made a str mage in khaini, but those were the days when getting to level 25 took a little more time than I liked
