Good laptop to get?

My budget is 400-550$ and I was wondering if I should get a Dell Inspiron 15.6" HD Notebook,AMD A10, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD? Its currently 400$ on ebay. Would it be able to play games like dota 2, TF2, Heroes of the storm etc? Any advice at all would be very much appreciated!

Thanks for that. The gaming performance of that APU is slightly worse than I expected. The A10-7300 is a low-wattage version of the fully featured A10-7400, but everything I mentioned in my previous reply still stands - expect technically playable, but not smooth or fluid framerates for DOTA 2 and Heroes of the Storm even at the lowest settings.
The games you have listed should be technically playable regardless of which generation AMD A10. However, DOTA 2 may be borderline unplayable if it features an older version of the A10,

Without knowing that laptop model, I can't get a full picture on its gaming performance.
...that ain't a budget. You need at least $1000. With that much I'd get a dell Xps 13 2015, hp specter x360, lenevo yoga pro 3, or MBA (they might release new ones this Monday. Save a little more because that's desktop money. Laptops are going to need more.
