Basil market and other ms related sites
With the announce and confirmation of BannedStory being closed down,its safe to say that nexon korea is gonna be going after other maplestory related websites,how do you basilers feel about this,i mean basil,hidden street and sleepywood could be next.

Yeah, with all the GM Q&A's hosted on Basil and whatnot they'd look silly if they sued basil.
Yep. Nexon America congratulated Basil Market with its 5 year anniversary, so it'd be more than strange if they decided to sue us now.
Aww! I loved BannedStory, it helped me get ideas for characters. ;_;
Anyways, I believe we're safe. ^Even the mods think so.
As long as we use Nexon material, we're just as guilty as Ion. Though, jonatan's probably right, at worst, they'd just ask to have the files removed as they did with MapleSim. I don't see it happening though with the connection Nexon has with Basilmarket though.
Basilmarket is a Maplestory fan website. We're safe.

I was thinking this. The only thing I could think of Basil getting in trouble for is for using their images, if they removed it, it would be like just another forums/auction site.

I understand,i just hope nexon doesn't try anything fishy if you know what i mean,and lets say bannedstory used illegal terms,they weren't profitting from using ms sprites and extractions and what not,but i guess it is still nexons material.Something tells me nexon will make something similar to bannedstory tho.

Bannedstory was shut down because they were illegally obtaining their, for lack of better word, stuff. All of BasilMarket's information and content is submitted by users. We aren't doing anything illegal here.
