Scrolling is like overclocking.

Just an analogy I thought up after seeing the scroll merchant in orbis tower. He said something about how his scrolls were guaranteed to work- since he made them. Made me think of factory preset computer parts and how they're not at the top of their potential, but that's so they're guaranteed to function just fine. But as you jack up the power, things start to get dangerous, same thing on scrolls. So using 7 100%'s(the blue-green-ish kind) is like using computer parts at factory settings, using 60% and 10% scrolls is like overclocking your graphics card(Will crash, but no catastrophic failure) and using dark scrolls/scrolls that can destroy your item is like overclocking your CPU or using the BSEL mod. Crap can hit the fan pretty quickly. EE scrolls are even more like overclocking.

Using GM scrolls is like slapping science in the face and flipping it the bird.

this is the nice analogy, especially since i'm a tech guy.

Welp until you know what you're doing, you don't, so it's pretty easy to damage computer parts.
