Do you think well be able to use Fox0 for eternal youth?

Here's some facts:

L'hydre(in French so I guess it's hydra in english) can regenerate its cells infinitly meaning that as long his morrow bones(correct me if I used the wrong terms) are undamaged.

This is due to the FOX0 gene...
And it just so happens we,humans,have it too.

Do you think we can control FOX0's activity for eternal youth?
The idea is really the awesome one.
Damn it,I'll be able to play Dark Souls 40

As Far as I am aware the human FOX family homologues have yet to be linked to aging, instead seem to be more linked with aging related diseases.

@Angramainyu Well,for exemple we know how to stop COX to creates chimical intermediates(Again,I'm translating literally so it is probably not the right terms) thus reducing the sensation of pain and activation of some immune cells with aspirin.
So it is possible to find something that has an effect on Fox0 I think.
Badass nickname btw,Fate/Night?
@Icicle
Thanks for the statement although since we know not much,I don't think we can already say if it's impossible or not,I guess we can only hope the research is successful.

@Qwed
I wonder about that. Does the hydra has a conscience?Is the brain regenerating by destroying older cells too?Does that mean the oldest connections between neurones would be erased?I'm wildly speculating basing on nothing there.

I believe in the end it wouldn't matter, you would enter a vegetative state eventually, or at the very least have your brain 'full'. Since it is a set size.
