Comparison is horrible IMO. Your using the act of actually hacking to obtaining something from someone who either A. Bought it from another person who got it from a duper or B. is the duper. Which then you really don't use any hacks to get the item. Rather time you used to merch/time you took to get the money to obtain such item. Two clearly different scenarios.

It is nice that Nexon removed duped items, but they did it at the wrong time. They let all of the items become commonplace before they removed them, and now that so many people had them, they lost whatever money or time they put into getting that item which is very wrong in my opinion since nexon turned a blind eye to it for so long, and although I didn't have any duped gear myself, i know people who did and they lost a lot in terms of time and money spent on getting those items.

Man am I glad I sold my stuff a month ago...

Still I feel kind of bad now because I wonder if all the people who bought my stuff lost their equips

I'd rather buy duped items for $20 than spend $100 trying to cube and make that ish myself.

lost half my gear, but the people who were stronger than me before had more duped gear than me i guess.

Self Scrollers and Cubers probably spend a lot in the long run (time and money) and buying it already made was most likely cheaper. Even if it was deleted, the difference in the costs could probably let you make another item.

I had an even combo of both items. I managed to get to 200 so idc about them being deleted.

lol so many people rage quitting, the ones who spend hundreds for duped equips, a friend went from 300k range to 120k range in one day.
