Should I get the Moto G?
Soo, I'm looking for a new phone right now and the Moto G seems to be the best in that 170-200$ range. It has real great features, though the camera sucks, but I guess thats alright. I've read a lot of reviews and stuff and they are great but its only been 2 months or less since the phone has been released so I'm fearing it might start lagging and such as people use it more. Do you guys think I should go ahead and buy it? If not, is there any other good phone in this price range that is equally good? Help is much appreciated.

Get the Moto X, Nexus 4/5, LG G2, Galaxy S3/S4, or HTC One. Find it on Craigslist if you think you can't afford it from your provider.
What is your provider anyway.
I own it right now, and I have no major complaints (because it's cheap for its capabilities).
Overall, it's a good phone.
The size is almost perfect for me. It's a very slim phone, the screen is large.
I personally haven't experienced lagging (or haven't noticed any) but given:
- I replaced the default launcher
- I removed/disabled a lot of apps
As for battery life, it depends on my usage (like all other phones)
- Sometimes I use 80%, other days 30% but If I use the GPS I have to plug it in or it will die very fast.
Minor annoyances:
- In general, I dislike phones with non-removable batteries. My previous phone had removable batteries.
- The lack of sd slot, unlike my previous phone.
- the only physical buttons are power, and +/- volume. My previous phone had 3 front physical buttons (Back, Home, Menu) which I really miss.
- if you plug in earphones, you can only hear the alarm through the headphone. Which is pretty stupid if you ask me. All my previous phones would still ring loudly (for the alarm) even if there are earphones plugged in.
- I can't seem to find any accessories for it. I'm somewhat clumsy so I need a cover to make it less slippery (like my previous phone).
- The "recent apps" button. I hate it.
P.S. I kinda miss my previous phone.
TLDR: Based on my experience, it's a good buy.
Nexus 4 is probably around 250 maybe?
Nexus 5 is pretty much the only other "acceptable" entry level phone however you're looking at $350ish
Some cons of this phone are really irritating, haha. Any other good alternatives in the same price range? o:
all battery life dies over use, it`s a part of all batteries
@RisingRain I was particularly thinking about the battery life. I know there are tonnes of reviews saying its awesome but will its battery life reduce after some time of use?
It's probably the best phone for $200 with no contract, but don't expect it to be amazing (no 1080p, no extremely fast quad core, no real 4G besides HSPA+).
I have one and it's great for day-to-day use. Battery life is generally good as well.
