Anyone remember when MMVs was the hype?

I remember when people used to work 5 hours straight into an MMV and used all these special effects.

I was never into those. I prefer maple animations. Like the "Smash mushroom collab". I still can't post links yet so just youtube it(or someone else link it lol)

I only liked them if they were funny, like Weird Al's songs. Every other song made me cringe.

No fun? Those MMV's were the partypoopers. Most cringe worthy crap ever. Putting any song with maple just makes everything 10x worse.

I hated them so much. Good riddance I say.
MMV's are dead. Most of the maple videos are of koreans soloing zak in 2.1 Seconds.
I felt embarrassed for the creator of that just watching it.

I always thought MMVs were "cheesy".
