Playerbases? Move Worlds?
Hey Basilers I'm a Bellocan player, which is allianced to Nova.
We're the second least populated server, with 2500 online atm according to some tracking site (Least is 1300 with Renegades).
I feel like Bellocan is dying off sometimes. The CH1 FM has about 5 people trying to buy/sell something... it used to be 50+.
I LOVE FM I LOVE AFK SHOP AND I LOVE MERCHING OFF FM SHOPS NOW ITS SLOWLY DISAPPEARING NOOO T_T.
Does any other player in Bellocan/Nova or Renegades feel the same?
Apparently Khaini has pretty much the same playerbase as Bellocan+Nova too.
Scania/Bera/Broa/Windia/Other Allianced Servers are doing much better at 3000+ peoples.
So how are you taking the population, other Bellocans/Novans & Khanians & Renegadians? Do you mind the lower playerbase population? Ever have trouble getting PQ members or training partners and such?
As for other worlds, they're better off, how do you like the higher population? I think I prefer higher population, but I already have 3 4th jobs here in Bellocan and would need a fresh start if I moved. No more character cards or skill links and stuff? If only world transfer coupon moved all characters over.. o.O
Edit; what im saying is im feeling lonely here sometimes im staring at my screen for an hour wondering what to do or traveling random maps encountering maybe 1 or 2 muted grinders. it feels different to what I used to play 2-8 years ago. Whers my magical MS adventure ! Feels so dead ~ perhaps cuz my buddy list is 0/100 24 hours a day, guess they all quitted

It's not too depressing for me as I've witnessed way worse of a dead population. I love it here nice people,not crowded, and it's not hard to find a training spot.

There may be millions of people who have tried MS and a fraction that stayed with it but also only a fraction online at any moment in time so apparently there's only 22k online right now. For some comparison, Runescape currently has 64k online right now according to their front page.
Oh yes but during peak times of the day, I've been seeing 35-40k people online, so it's not too bad yeah?
Yeah, SH and PQs is always empty, FMs prices are unaffordable for me there. Only my awesome alliance-mates and buddies are keeping me there.

Millions of people were signed up, but most of the community died down.

A whooping 1616 Maplers in Bello/Nova. Nearly 500 of which is AFK in Channel 1. No wonder I travel random maps and never see a soul for half an hour+. There's only ~50 Maplers per channel (2-20). 50 Maplers per 10,000 maps in a MS world per channel. Wow! No wonder I felt something was off. But I have no NX for transfers, and so much to lose to restart in a new server. Unless someone wanted to trade their server mesos for Bello/Nova mesos XD at a profitable ratio... I wouldn't mind trading 100m at a time for 50m of Bera or Windia or Scania :O. But there's probably not a single Mapler moving to Bello from a populated server Only reason I left Bera was because I bombed all my main equipments with dark scrolls/clean slates/90%potentials a long time ago and couldn't take the blow and ran away from reality threw Bera away ran into an isolated Bello/Nova into hiding away from the Gamble Monster. Too bad it chased me all the way to Bello too, I had lost over 10b in scrolling stuff which was 90% of my net worth so it was bad too.[/quote]

Yeah I do agree that there are pros and cons to this. But for my playstyle I should have stuck to a more populated world though like Bera/Windia.
I almost never train in mainstream maps so competition for training spots don't bother me.
I almost never boss so no channel competing too.
I love PQs so much where are all the PQers?

Bellocan .
When I played Bera years ago during the summer I hit over 30 buddies online during the day time.
I'm used to having Buddy/Guild chat spammed to no end, getting chat requests and people sparking drama here and there... now it's like.. I'm taking a stroll down MS Graveyard.
Edit: I was getting MS population info from this site, not sure how accurate it is though : http://www.craftnet.nl/MWLR/
Edit2: judging from some comments, it might be that I just need to fill up my buddy list with new active players and find a guild.. perhaps :o. But the CH1 FM Entrance is just sad which Im dearly hoping is due to new Xenons coming out.
what is the website that tracks the users on the worlds?
I started off in windia like @kahpow, but then i restarted in bello during the dual blade revamp. It's easier to grind, not as lonely if you find a nice guild/alliance. Overall, I've been enjoying it a lot more than windia.
I started off in Windia (crowded) and play in Bellocan now. I do find it a bit sad that most party quests I enter are empty or have very few people. But at the same time you don't ever have to compete for channels. I usually train by myself since I can never find anyone at the map I'm on. Gets kind of lonely; I don't think I've ever even come across a party training, excluding party quests, of course.
I went from Mardia (dead) to Bellocan, and it's almost sad sometimes that I don't have to compete for channels in a PQ, or training in a map, or I don't get annoyed with all of the spamming in popular maps. The things that used to make me mad growing up with this game are kind of nostalgic and unfortunately missing.
