How to not get hacked
Hi basil, I'm seeing tons of people making "hackednowwhat" threads lately, and it's really saddening to see people who spent so much time and effort on this game to lose it all. I myself have been hacked before, so I know how it feels.
Here's the only way to not get hacked, short of a Nexon database leak.
Open the on screen keyboard program on your computer, and open notepad. Create your password by using your mouse to pick the letters/symbols/numbers, then save the file wherever. From now on, whenever you log on, just copy-paste it from notepad to the website/game launcher.

It doesn't really matter what you're password is there are password generators. Of course the longer the password the harder it is for them to crack it but with Nexon constantly leaking Game IDs of hundreds of players I find it hard to believe anyone is really safe. Of the people I know that haven't been hacked the only thing they all have in common is that they keep password 20 characters or more and they change them every night before they log off.
Your idea is nice but that will only save you if you've been keylogged and 9 times outta 10 by the time you realize you're keylogged it's way too late.

If you have a bunch of files and don't distinguish your password from other folders. I also doubt they'd be able to peer through your computer, but I'm a n00b with two zeros when it comes to computer maintenance.
