Ehhh, darn Zoroark, I know it's unlikely, but I want Hydreigon or Mienshao to be in it. Maybe as compensation for having the final boss of both bw and b2w2 have a severly under-leveled Hydreigon. I'd be satisfied with even a Pokeball summon for Mienshao.

What if Nintendo trolls us and puts Sylveon in the new ssb?
They might. Excluding Pikachu & Jigglypuff, SSBM had Mewtwo & Pichu (Gen 1 & 2), SSBB had Pokemon Trainer & Lucario (Gen 3 - FR/LG & Gen 4)...so we might get 5 & 6 representatives?

Zoroark would be a great change because of his variety of dark type moves. He was also the first gen 5 pokemon to be revealed.
Maybe I just want him because he's my faveorite Gen 5 pokemon
Well I guess it's my bias as well since Starfox is my favorite series of all time, but regardless I just feel like Nintendo hasn't given much love to the Starfox series as of late and adding Krystal would be a nice touch. Plus, her abilities from Starfox Adventure would open up other fighting possibilities without making her another clone.

Of course there are lots of other characters that could be represented as well, but Krystal can easily just be added in along with them.
I'd agree if she hadn't been totally crippled and misrepresented in SF:A? like she obviously has abilities and powers but Fox essentially takes those so he can go on the grand journey to save her (eugh). Like I guess they could still use those ideas since she was originally made to have them/be the protag, but I feel like Nintendo could care less about Starfox/her.
I'm at least excited for Platinum Games to possibly get involved with the Starfox franchise though. They've got a stellar track record even if it may be in other genres.
Perhaps that's just my opinion, but Krystal is kind of....meh. She doesn't really seem to fit in, actually, and was just created as some cheap love interest for Fox. Also they already got 3 characters of their series in it (Granted, they are indeed clones as ya said). I can't come up with anything on the spot, but surely there are other games that would love some representation in a Smash Bros.
there is basically 0 chance of this but I'm praying they add Zero (from megaman zero on Gameboy not from megaman X series) he'd fit so well and that version of him was Nintendo exclusive...
hell I'd even take megaman zx.
but its not going to happen

Considering that nearly every major publisher has announced that they will be dropping much of their support for the console, and that they are making around 800% less profit than the original Wii. Yes both of those consoles are far superior even though I wasn't even remotely implying they were... Hell even the DS is being outsold by the PSV in recent months...
PSV isn't doing well. I can prove that notion of yours as false. The DS is still the supreme handheld to date. Perhaps you've forgotten that the Wii U only came out recently and the Wii's sales have been recorded since release.

Why take the best selling handheld and the best selling home console and put them together? Certainly not to make more money right? I'm wondering how much of an actual percent will drop when the XB1 comes out.

Meanwhile I'm excited for the PS4.

And you're implying Xbox one or the yet to be even talked about PS4 will be better? Don't make me laugh.

If I'm hoping for a character, Lloyd Irving. It's a very possible outcome, since Namco Bandai is directing this title with Sakarai still in charge of course.

Those complaining about how we are going to play Smash with the touch screen, the Wii U has buttons. In almost every game released on the Wii U today, the touch screen option is just an extra, most games can be beaten without the use of the touch pad.

Back to Smash. It would be cool if they put in a 'Special fight' as they did with other renditions of Smash and add in flat stages with no blastzones, health bars, and combos that consist of button combinations. Of course Smash will stay true to its core game mechanics in the normal scenario.

I'm curious how this thread will turn out.

She was never originally a Star Fox character in the first place.

I dont want it to be on the 3ds.
They are announcing everything for the 3ds.
They need some wiiU titles.

I would get this, but honestly, I would rather buy a 3DS. If SSB is all they have, then a Wii U is not worth the money.

They better not betray my hype. SSB is my favorite fighting game series of all time. Though I haven't played many, most are the locked platform fighters like mortal kombat or DOA. Those have never appealed to me. In smash brothers I love how less constricted the movements are, you get to play as all your favorite characters too.
Hopefully sonic is going to be in it.
Edit: And if sonic is there, maybe a new character from his franchise.
Why? She sucks, they should add Leon or Panther
Because we don't need another fox clone. Krystal has already been held out of one smash bros game, so she deserves her chance in this one.

It's already been translated, can you not read English as well?

"Please take note: on the Nintendo Direct broadcast on June 11, we will be showing the first images of our new Smash Bros - simultaneously, worldwide, at the same time."

Or maybe you need a pair of new glasses? If you can't see that, you should really get your eyesight checked.

Or maybe you need more schooling. I heard education is usually a good thing.
