Root Abyss Pets?
Are these desirable in some regard (apart from aesthetics, specifically the bundle)? Seems like they're being treated as the showcase item(s) for Black Friday.
But they all expire in 90 days, even in the triple bundle. And they don't have stat boosts like PB, just a mount supposedly? How is that worth the ~$10 every 90 days in upkeep (without any pet equips)?

"Equip to obtain the Root Awakening skill, which grows stronger as you equip more Root Abyss pets (Max 3) [W/M.Atk]. These pets will become bigger as you fight monsters around your level. Eventually, they will reach Giant status and cast a particularly awesome buff on you every 5 minutes".
They did remove the mount. Not sure what the 3x skill or buff gives. Those that didn't get the package in time can try to buy them separately which comes with each of their 90-day equipment and some scrolls, but not the food or snack, for $6 more. Though I imagine it would be very easy to miss one.
@Shoyz: Probably a limited quantity item... making them a highly rare pet (unless ofcourse they plan to release them at a later date).

Is there any extracted/confirmed set bonus for them? It sounded as though in JMS the set bonus was the mount, but they came pre-equipped with auto skills. It'd be nice if GMS swapped the skills for a set effect worth the 90 day expiry.
