Maplestory is VASTLY different from WoW. A completely different (and more mature) playerbase, different story- I could go on and on about the differences between WoW and Maplestory. besides,maplestory is supposed to be a game meant for younger people... o_o

Well, Dragon Nest proves they can make a flashy kind of fast paced world for people to play at (left us latin american players out... but whatever, I don t think they ll have a chance to get possible host south of the US in a relative good long time). Hope they take this chance to make the brand of MapleStory something more "acceptable" and "enjoyable" to the new generations of players, and that they don t run it with only money in their heads as the current maple has suffered for some time now.

Nothing in the trailer hints at PvP, the girl was clearly one of the main villains seeing how see summoned the one boss at the end.
This would be like saying Kaisers cinematic where he fights Magnus hints at PvP.

OT: I think the video sells the game pretty well, I can't wait to see an actually gameplay video!

if they're going to have similar names of towns, the same type of monsters and some similar classes, then it is correct to call it Maplestory 2.

for example, Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10 and the other numbers have different characters and different stories.

It honestly doesn't. Other than having a few familiar enemies and maybe character models, the story will not be in relation to the first, no notable characters will be in the game, it's not even going to be made by the same developer.

That dubstep haha...looks like they are keeping the same premise but upgrading the game to more of a dragon nest feel

Actually, this reminds me of Dragonica (Dragon Saga now) a lot. Mainly because of the animating style, and character design (3D wise).

Also, people knocked this game a lot, I bet when it's out, it beats MapleStory 1 to the ground. This looks like it'll be A LOT more complex to play than Maplestory 1.

This looks like a good chance for Nexon to utilize amazing blurring effects, awesome 'combo' features, and best of all, show us how well they can make a 3D game!
