Do you hear the birds chirping

"What are they saying?"

This is a thread about it being 4:00 in the morning. At least where time actually matters, that is: The Midwestern U.S. Now, you may say that's a bit pretentious of me, but you're too tired to get angry at me. Because if you tried to engage in such aggressive behavior in a moment like this, this would be the only result.

Moving on.

Speak of the whimsy that is the famed "Night Basil". Speak not of the feeble attempt that is "Midnight Basil", for this a rouse; it is an illegitimate attempt to rekindle life into a much too self-absorbed time-frame of basiling. What midnight basil wishes to be is simple: the freedom to post as you wanted to post. Many of your brethren have fought and died for the right to come on at a late time where most of the other basilers who post nonsense and generally unrelatable tidbits of their lives to fill the void that is "Regular hours chat". Here we stand, united, exhausted, and, most unusually, laying, and not standing at all, (for many are basiling from their beds.)

We stand for... I don't really know. I'm just kinda sleepy and I want to know how you guys are doing. So... Hey! What's up, buttercup? What are you doing up so late?

I always feel a bit deprived of "Night Basil", even though I'm usually around at that time. With it being 10am in the morning and all, it sorta detracts from the whole experience. *Flails at your face*
"Night Basil" for Europeans is kind of silly, imo. It's like you're all set up and ready to go to work and you work that "Productive member of society" appeal into all of your posts.
