@darkmagicrox: Yea, thought so. Awhile ago it used to be accurate, dunno what happened. IIRC it used to say it was worth around 300k >.>
Well aparaently Basil is worth $11k.
Also, who would want to buy this site? o-o
Basil is very easy to grow and easy to obtain if you know the right guy
Well from a realistic marketing perspective;
MrBasil will first have to find a distributor.
A really good one who can cut him great deals and have a steady consistent supply.
Then he will have to invest on programmers to re-write the site to allow for such transactions and sets of servers which would allow the orders to come through to a system of computers which then go to the distributions center, where he will also need to invest on capital and workers.
Ofcourse you needs clients. Who's going to come here for Basil if nobody knows about the site or business?
Basilmarket is the 2nd option on Google when "Basil" is searched, so thats one option, but how many people actually look it up in search for the ingredient?
There would be need for advertisement. The most cost effictive method I can think of would to use Basilers.
We would all print out an ad, a sort of flier, and post it on a bulletin board, pole, etc. Maybe post it on our facebooks; w/e.
That leads to shipping, which cost alot, and finally;
Basil is perishable. It can't go through the whole process efficiently.
and I just came up with a marketing plan better than the one I had turned into my marketing class.
Not really, but w/e....
