Idea: Party Crashers

NOTE: I NEVER intend my posts to be so long, but it usually ends up that way. Please accept my most humble apologies. -Bows-

A new idea... My head is full of too many ideas nowadays... Oh well...? Best to speak ideas and let everyone else know, see what they think right?

ANYWAYS, on to the new idea.

[b]An Unexpected Party[/b]

The Maplers are trying to resist the Black Mage in any way possible to stop his revival. They continue to thwart the Black Wings\'s plots and bring limited peace to the Maple World. Our story begins on a regular day.

A new continent appears, just floating on the waves, and the Maplers quickly go to scan the place. When the first ship of Maplers arrives to the island, they are met by cheerful faces and unexpected friendly people. These people inhabiting this island are happy to finally meet new people, and throw a celebration for the Maplers. The Maplers join in to the celebration, and they all have fun and celebrate, happy for the brief enjoyment. A few days pass, and the Maplers continue to enjoy themselves on this wonderful island, when suddenly the sky darkens, and the Maplers know their worst fears have been realised. The Black Wings have found this island.

The Black Wings begin to attack, and The Maplers defend as best as is possible. Eventually, after a long time, the Black Wings just leave, and everyone knows something happened. They search throughout the island to try and find what it was that happened, but they can\'t find it. Eventually the island inhabitants tell them they can defend the island, and that the Maplers should continue on their battle to defend the Maple World. The Maplers leave, and the island floats off to unknown places.

A few days later, some Maplers discover that there have been attacks from an island that seems to be moving. They immediately know that it must be their friends from the island. They hunt down the island and the sight they saw chilled them to the very bone. The island was completely dead and barren, and the inhabitants were all dead, their bodies strewn everywhere. The Maplers explore the island and find a hideous creature standing at the center of the island. The creature gives a hideous roar, and smashes the ground. The island begins to break, and the Maplers are trying to find a safe area. After a while, the island completely breaks, and the Maplers are left trying to swim to safe areas in the ocean. Suddenly, another roar is heard, and the Maplers look up to see that the creature sprouted wings, and is flying above them. The creature begins to attack, and the Maplers try their best to defend from this onslaught of attacks. Many maplers die, and everyone begins to lose hope. Suddenly, a light shines from the sky, and the creature gives an inhumane screech. The maplers hear a voice from the sky, and they realise it to be the chief of the island\'s voice. He tells them to get up, and fly to the battle. At these words, the Maplers begin to be able to fly, and they try to get used to it. After a while, the Maplers are ready, and the battle for a destroyed island begins. The light fades, and the creature glares at the Maplers, fury in its eyes. The Maplers begin to attack with relentless force, weaving through the air, and striking quickly. After a while, the beast looks weakened, so the Maplers ready for a final strike. At this, the creature quickly rushes to the water, and it falls in. The Maplers are confused, and hover over the water. They see that the water is beginning to freeze, and they quickly fly higher, but they hit a transparent wall of ice. The creature then springs from the water, in a completely frozen look, and it just stands on the ice. The Maplers begin to strike again at the creature, and the battle continues. After another while, the creature begins to fall, and the Maplers begin again for the final strike. The creature falls through the ice, and the Maplers immediately fly upwards. The ice begins to melt, and some of the land masses from the island begin to form together. The creature comes out of the ground, and the Maplers begin their assault again. After a while, the Maplers are faced with a final strike opportunity, and they try to quickly finish the battle. The creature, instead of diving, takes the hit, and bursts into flames. The creature begins to fight with fire, and the Maplers are forced to fight against this fiery onslaught. After a while, the creature begins to seem really tired, and the Maplers find it\'s time for the finishing hit. They deal the finishing blow, and the creature falls. They wait a few minutes for the creatuire to stir, but it doesn\'t. The Maplers begin to heal their wounds, when suddenly, a dark wind screeches throughout what remains of the island. The Maplers are blinded, and try to stay together so they wouldn\'t be blown away. After a while, the wind dies down, and they open their eyes. What stands before them scares whatever courage they had left. There, standing before them, is a gargantuan hideous creature, with grotesque features. They look around for an escape, but they are trapped in a black void. Whatever the thing is, the Maplers will have to fight on its grounds. The maplers begin to fight this legendary battle, and eventually, the creature\'s body begins to wither away. After a long, and tiring battle, they are able to defeat the monster, and a glowing portal appears before them. They cautiously look at each other, and enter into the portal. What they saw on the other side of the portal was probably the the most gladdening sight they would ever see.

For this one, I\'m mainly focusing on the boss battle, so if anyone has a good story for it be glad to pipe in, please.

I will tell you now, this boss idea is probably spectacular. I\'m introducing an Elemental boss. The boss begins by destroying the ground, and the Maplers are only able to try to defend themselves from the water. After a while, they are able to fly and beat the hell out of this beast. Then it becomes an ice elemental. It becomes weak to fire and lightning. and resistant to everything, even melee items. fire and lightning do about 200% to it, and everything else does about 70%. After that phase it becomes earth or neutral. It is then weak to Fire and Ice, and resistant to everything else. It then becomes Fire type, and is weak to Ice and Neutral, and resistant to everything else. After that phase comes the big darkness thing... This phase will be the toughest because it has multiple attacking body parts. Every part of its body is weak to holy, and takes normal damage from everything else. After that is done comes the portal leading to the unknown.

So basically, it\'s an aerial battle and a ground battle. You are free to fly and walk in the battle, and it\'s everyone vs. this one thing. The creature begins weak, and gradually becomes stronger.

It should be a very high level, and drop high leveled equipment too. Once defeated, it could give a medal called... \"Elemental Master\"?

I will not go into what the portal leads to unless you ask me. For now, I\'ll leave it to your imaginations.

I\'m sorry for the very long post, but if anyone knows me, I tend to be \"in-depth\" with my stories before I go into the Maple mechanics.

Edit: I forgot to mention that there's a quest line, and after you finish it, there's an NPC that sells ELEMENTAL weapons. They are weaker than lvl 100 equips but add an elemental charge to your attacks. The only downside is that you can only equip one during the battle, and it IS possible to increase damage for the mages with these new weapons.
