Is maplestory done with new classes?
Shade has been out for a while and i remember a period of time where there was a new class like 2 times in a year. I feel that back then I thought that it was overboard with too many classes but to be dead honest, I kind of miss it. Like it made maplestory special. Will there be new classes in the future?

Yeah I hope they do. But I can see what your saying, it's important to work on existing problems before creating new classes to mask them. A lot of the classes such as mihile really have Trouble competing with the newer classes. Red was good for some explorers, like especially warriors, but some classes didn't get a "complete" overhaul. But one day, I do hope to be hyping over new classes and trying out new skills.

As much as I want Nexon to finish the Nova and Sengoku classes, they need to fix bugs and glitches for other classes first. Shade's "Soul Splitter" for example, hasn't been fixed if I'm correct and it's been months... Like the other person said, creating new classes isn't easy when you have so many classes and to balance/revamp the rest. Honestly, it's best to introduce new classes after they do fifth job because it's going to delay it even more and many of us are anxiously waiting for it, imo.[/quote]
I feel you and I completely understand what you are saying. I just felt that maplestory, in all of the mmo world, probably has one of the most classes but I feel like that was what made maplestory maplestory. Like I enjoyed telling myself "this next class is the one I will main" over and over again. I mean, there are bugs but it's not like nexon didn't entirely ignore them. Like they fixed I/l frozen orb glitch about the time of shade. Like maple I believe does have a lot of classes and it does need to go fix some of the older ones but when your training with a party, you will never get the same experience twice because of all the clases, and the screen will be different colored since there are probably different classes in your party. I'm probably the only guy in the world but I'm just sad that this may be the end.
Honestly i don't think they are planning to release ayame anytime soon. And they need to fix all the bugs and glitches before they even attempt a new class. just look at beast tamer man.

IF they make any new classes, they ought to finish up what they did with Mihile and make a Hawkeye, Irena, Oz and Eckhart class... just makes sense, really.
After that, maybe finish the Ayame class from the Sengoku path and possibly create a class based on the character from the DS game (a kung-fu style character from Mu Lung who uses a Bo Staff).
i heard that they are working on the eric class
its a common class that can
-> equip any weapon,
->use both att and m.att,
-> use str dex luk int
i think they only have one skill, and its called chuck norris or something along those lines
this skill has 3 parts to it
Active : (Hurricane like skill) 1000% per hit, 15 lines and it fires at a rate of 50ms ,99% to activate afa dealing 1000% each
Passive: Dmg range is automatically raised by 10m
Buff: removes dmg cap

To be fair making a new class isn't the easiest thing in the world. Then again Nexon proves me wrong considering they reuse skills and repaint them to make them look different, but that's a whole nother can of worms. Anyways JMS has a teaser of Ayame although there hasn't been any news about if she's ever going to be an actual class or not. Although I also heard they wanted to finish the thief & archer, but this was old rumors I read a long time ago.
All I want is 5th job. I wonder what the 5th job names are gonna be for adventurers...
They need to fix classes, like me, before new ones.....

Well at least I feel that we need a third nova and make Ayame a class so that we can have character card sets
I think JMS is working on Ayame? o.o
New jobs and revamps stimulate the market. Right now, we're getting the resistance revamps so that'll be nice.
We have enough classes; we need more content, not just any content that gets hyped and die off... Contents that are worth while!
Lets just hope for the 3rd explorer bowman.
