Hack Shield Update Error 0x30000090805306512

After taking a break from maple after about six months I've decided to come back and give it another go. I downloaded the game and installed but then when trying to run it I get the error:

HackShield Update Error : 0x30000090(805306512)
Update timeout occurred in HackShield update program.
Please send the detailed information through AhnReport

Does anybody know how to fix this, if so could you please provide me with some assistance, I'm running windows xp.

Also what are the major things that have changed in the last six months, new classes or big updates or whatever?
