there are no legal ws scrolls, protection scrolls, GMscrolls so that's how you know what items are duped. Oh btw... all 10 atk + wgs are duped too probably. You just should hunt for your own scrolls.

I would love if nexon deleted all the duped items.

theres a different between duped item & hacked item. Its a big concept that people don't understand, 90% of maplestory items probs is duped e.g WS, scrolls, protections scroll & more u name it

its funny how people argue over the duped/hacked items but pretty much everyone has bought a duped gm scroll or 2h 50% but nobody complains about those

how can i tell if armour for LUK scrolls are duped?
im not buying the weapons or the VSS or the masks.
i would like to scroll my own equips.
i did that two weeks ago and bam ... nexon deleted my luk top and bottom.

I believe there is a solution. Some people on this and other forums have stated it. Each item has its unique code, where as duped items will have the exact same code as its original item before being duped. If your bwg were made from scratch, then it would at least be safe from the duped ones.

Duped stuff won't get removed, since most of the items in the game are duped. But hacked weapons, will be removed, actually, most are already removed.

o_o Well, I have got no solution, ma'am. I was pretty much just talking out of my ass... okay, maybe not entirely. BUT, I do recall reading in several threads, that duped items all share the same ID or something along those lines, soooo... if Nexon decides to check the coding of their game (? - Lol, look at me trying to be tech savvy) and see that multiple [insert item name here] all have the same ID, wouldn't they get suspicious?

The point I'm trying to make/was trying to make in the previous post is [b]If you have reason to believe an item is hacked or duped, don't buy it.[/b] Simple as that...

@GazimoEnthra: That's certainly true, but once word spreads about which item has been duped/hacked, why on earth would you still go through with buying it? I understand that these items give players with not-so-good funding, and access to a credit card or actual money an opportunity to be considered "pro" but is it worth it if there's a chance Nexon will remove them at some point later on?

I usually steer clear of anyone that's selling more than two of [i]any[/i] really godly item in the MTS (Usually having the same stats I.E: Elemental Staff5/6). I'm just that paranoid, LOL.

When any item is first duped it's hard to tell that it has been.
Day 1: A few 15 atk wgs enter MTS. No biggie.
Day 2: First five pages are 15 atks by the same person. You're screwed for buying what you thought was a bad deal.

Honestly, anyone that uses NX or real money to buy duped/hacked items shouldn't be complaining about them being removed from the game. It's pretty much your own fault for spending good money on illicit items.

But, if you're venting about having your legit items being removed from the game because they happened to be the same item that's being mass duped, then I suppose I feel for you. It would suck to have a [i]legit[/i] nicely scrolled weapon removed.

From the dupped never but the hacked maybe soon.
